Business Lab Africa Overview

What is BLA

Business Lab Africa is a social enterprise focused on providing practical and relevant knowledge to African entrepreneurs.

Our goal is to offer practical business knowledge for FREE to 1,000,000 learners by the end of 2022 through relevant online training.

Where does the school take place?
Everything is online, you can access from anywhere in the world with an internet-enabled device. You can learn at your pace and from the comfort of your rooms. All recorded videos, replays of live classes, worksheets, etc will be made available in your student area.
How is BLA different from other online schools?

We are genuinely interested in helping entrepreneurs in Africa build a profitable and sustainable business through tested, in-depth, experiential and locally relevant business knowledge all for FREE.

How much time do i need to commit?

Recommended time for learning is 3-5 hours weekly. You can learn at your own pace. Your focus and dedication are all that is needed for BLA, the more your dedication, the greater your expected results. The weekly dedicated time will help you complete your growth assignments, engage with school faculty and other students. The more focus and dedication you put into BLA, the more you’ll get out of it.

Will BLA work for me if i don’t have a business?
BLA is perfect if you’re just initiating your business idea because it’ll train you to think like an entrepreneur and avoid the costly errors even smart entrepreneurs make when launching their first business.

How do I register?

Registration is free. To register, click on the signup button at the top right corner of your screen and check your email for a link to begin learning .

Is registration continuous?

No. It is not.

Will this work for my kind of business?
The principles we teach at the Business Lab Africa are applicable across any business industry if properly executed.
What additional support will students get?

Once you get the welcome email from our team, you are enveloped in a support system from a team of knowledgeable community members. In addition to the resources and lessons monthly you have access to the:

BLA Team support – We have a dedicated team to provide answers to any pressing questions you might have during your time at BLA. You can reach out to the team via email when you email info@businesslabafrica.com during office hours (Monday – Friday from 9 am – 5 pm WAT). We will resolve the complaint as quickly as we can, mostly within 24-48 hours

Do students get certificates upon completion?

For now, BLA is unaccredited internationally so we don't give certificates. For a long time in trainings, the focus has been on certifications rather than the practicality of knowledge. We would rather focus on helping you get results.

Think of your certificate as the growth you achieve in your business. But if you require a paper certificate, BLA is not for you.

Can I have my materials for life?

You have access to the materials for the duration of one year

Do I need to be technically savvy to enroll in BLA?
The answer is NO! What you need are basic workplace skills and your enthusiasm to learn.
Can I enroll my members of staff?
Yes, we encourage this. We are interested in providing accessible, practical and locally relevant knowledge to build sustainable businesses out of Africa. If your employees play key roles in your business, they need to be learning right.
